Hello all,

RL is looking to promote (preferably) or recruit for a new Officer position, to run weekly Operations and Flash Points. While we are a primarily PvP focused Guild, based on member feedback we see a clear need to be more organized for those people wishing to PvE. Many members like to engage in PvE content once in a while to not feel like all they do is grind WZs... and they are sick of PUGing this content.

I've talked to several members about this job... and I am hearing that they aren't interested because they don't know the Ops in SWTOR. Well, let me be clear - that's OK. The vast majority of the members who want to do Ops either haven't done them before and want to learn or haven't progressed very far... so this will be a progressive group that will learn together. Likely with 1-2 experienced people to help out.

Requirements for RL Members:
- Active member (active most days)
- Desire to lead with little direction
- Organized
- (Extremely) Patient
- Knowledge of raids/operations in SWTOR or previous MMOs preferred

Expectations:
- Schedule 2 or more Operations/Flashpoints per week, at least one on a weekday evening and one on a weekend PM time (not to conflict with ranked WZ times)
- Lead the Group(s) and manage their effective composition (you will not necessarily be able to or can participate in multiple Ops a week due to limitations)
- Study and know the fights (lots of vids out there if you haven't done them personally yet)
- Patiently teach the Group on how to best progress, both in Operation mechanics and appropriate gear
- Lead as an Officer in RL, empowered to recruit and do basic Guild Management
- Be knowledgeable about RL's history, lore, etc - all available on this site
- Use the site and forums to organize the Operations Group(s)

Note that while we want to get regular Operations activity going, we do not plan to be the dominant PvE Guild - we focus primarily on PvP. This is more about having fun in an organized way... but we do need a dedicated person to lead it

Hi all,

One of our long-term strategies is to develop Revan's Legacy into a force to be reckoned with in competitive PvP - including Rated War Zones. As a key part of this effort, Daigo has joined us as our new PvP Officer. Daigo is coming to us from the Memories of Xendor Guild, where he was a key member of their PvP activities. If you've heard his name before, it is because you knew him from as far back as the Helm of Graush server, won a WZ because he was on your team... Or lost a WZ because he slaughtered you from the opposite side

Daigo's role as our PvP Officer will be to create structure around competitive PvP play - putting together teams and the scheduling to compete in WZs and RWZs, and assisting with advice on strategies to build and equip your character to succeed on the battlefield and operate as part of a Team. He will also work with us to recruit some of the best PvPers on our server. We've already had Evasian and Xalgoth join us - two of the most powerful and knowledgeable players on the server.

Over the next few weeks, you will be seeing many new and talented players join us, as well as seeing more structure and communication on WZ play and advice on how to progress your characters in PvP. Some of you may have also noticed a new member note on your Guild details - 1337 PvPer - notating you as a currently best-in-slot (or close to it) geared player, and therefore a likely or possible candidate for one of the initial RWZ slots.

As we work to develop this structure, please feel free to ask questions and visit our forums - we will be adding new guides over time. And always, please seek to do WZs with other RL members whenever you want to get that daily done or just want to kill someone - this gets you used to Team play and helps you learn how your other Guildies operate.
